Spoilers for New Avengers 50.
These panels are a great example of the kind of thing I love and a half in comics. I have reread these pages several times since I first read them last night, and I find this scene v awesome, particularly the latter half.
Quick backstory: Norman Osbourn has seized power, taken over the Avengers and replaced them with his own Avengers. (I f*cking love Dark Reign, btw.) So here the good guys are hiding out and checking out the tv to see the bad guys who are basically impersonating them.
(ETA: Had to split the v large first frame up into four so the speech bubbles are readable.)

Here's where it gets really good.

I'm so partial to scenes in comic books and novels and movies where the heroes are just sitting around, chilling and talking and discussing relationships. And the way you can tell a story with a few bits of dialogue and beautifully rendered artwork... when it's well done, I absolutely adore this medium.
Spiderman's growing on me. He's actually pretty funny. "You've had sex?" I didn't realize he said stuff like that. I kind of always thought of him as kind of naive and innocent. He's really not.
And so much love for Logan and the power of a panel with no dialogue. Ronin offering to go rescue Daken is great, and you can almost visibly see the weight on Logan's shoulders in the profile drawing. Ugh. So much love.
